Tamsin Jones: I didn't get into Motorbikes until I was 26.  Before this I'd been into a few different sports and after a World Cup Downhill mountain bike race in Fort William I had my downhill bike stolen.I was not insured and couldn't afford to replace it. A few months after, some friends persuaded me to buy a Honda MTX125 motorbike, I loved it and we spent many long summer days trailriding. I was rubbish but the guys were really patient and picked me out of many bogs, ruts and ditches. What really got me hooked though was a trailride in South Wales with the Caerphilly club. After riding through rivers and up and down tricky steep mountains I was well and truly hooked and have never looked back. Results so far:Twice British Ladies Enduro Champion, twice best girl in the Red Bull Romaniacs, best girl in the Dawn till Dusk, best girl in the El Chott rally of Tunisia, best girl in the Tuareg Rally and second British women to complete the Dakar, finished 4th in 2010.

EPM Experience was started by the Johnson sisters back in 2009. After completing a charity motorbike ride in south Africa the sisters were on such a high they devised a plan to get more females in-volved in the sport of motorbiking. Our experience days are relaxed and fun experience create an oppor-tunity for ladies to 'have a go' without the pressure of stacking it in front of the boys! We provide bikes, kit, helmet and boots.
